Nicole Riccio, LMHC-D, NCC, CCTP-II
Practice Founder & Clinician
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, Board-Certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II (CCTP-II). I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to slow down, reflect, and begin making meaningful changes.
Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed internally—navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. You may appear “put together” on the outside while feeling stuck, disconnected, or exhausted on the inside. Therapy can be a space to better understand what’s going on beneath the surface and start feeling more grounded and in control.
My approach is integrative and tailored to you. With advanced training in complex trauma, I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic, and Strength-based approaches to help you safely process past experiences, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create lasting, meaningful change.
Our work together is collaborative and goal-oriented. We’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck, develop practical tools to support you in your day-to-day life, and help you move toward a version of yourself that feels more balanced, confident, and aligned.
You don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. Change is possible—and it can start here.
